According to Indiana Code (IC) 20-20-5.5-2, the Indiana Department of Education (IDOE) conducted a curriculum review process to evaluate, approve, and publish a list to assist schools in identifying high-quality STEM curricular materials. Code.org is proud to be included on the list for approved computer science curriculums.
District members and educational staff can access course alignment information through these links to support instructional staff with implementation. These resources include pacing guides, relevant standards, and competencies to promote successful computer science learning outcomes.
GRADES K-5

GRADES 6-12
Satisfies state requirements for:
Code.org's most flexible course, allowing each unit to be taught alone, combined into collections that focus on specific areas, or as a full year course. The free curriculum introduces students to building their own websites, apps, animations, games, and physical computing systems.
GRADES 8-12

Foundations of Computer Science is a comprehensive course aimed to align with CSTA and state standards and to fulfill graduation requirements. The beta version of this one-semester curriculum integrates key aspects of AP CSP and CSD.
